Compress.io is a photo and video compression tool. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your photos or videos. All compression happens entirely on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks. Your files never leave your device and are never uploaded to any server.
We collect minimal data required to operate the app:
Subscription status — managed by RevenueCat to determine whether you have an active Premium subscription. RevenueCat may collect an anonymous user identifier. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Crash reports — if the app crashes, anonymous crash data may be collected by Apple through App Store Connect to help us fix bugs. No personal information is included.
We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or social media integrations.
Compress.io processes all images and videos locally on your iPhone. Compressed files are saved directly to your Camera Roll via the iOS Photos framework. We have no access to your photos library beyond what you explicitly grant at compression time.
Premium subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store and managed by RevenueCat. We do not store your payment information. Subscription receipts are verified with Apple servers only to confirm your subscription status.
Compress.io is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
